The Camelbak Water Bladder
Anyone who has ever spent time out hiking or camping, or even just out for a casual walk on the trails, surely understands how valuable a water bladder is. When you have a water bladder, you never need to stop and open your water bottle in order to stay hydrated. You can keep right on walking while you pull the nozzle from your shoulder up to your mouth and drink water straight from a pouch in your backpack! And the more popular and prevalent the water bladder becomes, the more people assume that the Camelbak is the best water bladder out there; which brings up the question, “Is the Camelbak the best water bladder out there?”
Before you can answer the question of which is the “best,” ou first have to have a criteria upon which you can judge. The most important thing to judge, of course, is durability; the Camelbak bladder is practically indestructible as long as you use it as intended. This alone sets the Camelbak miles beyond the other water bladders, as no one wants to open their pack to find that their water bladder has burst. @@AMAZONWIDGET;camelbak;1063498@@. The Camelbak is again near the top when it comes to being able to easily drink water, without it spilling all over you. The Osprey bladder is the only other bladder that is close to the Camelbak here, as the magnetic shut-off valve on the Osprey makes your water bladder really convenient if you have an Osprey pack. But the Camelbak works with far more packs, and it is also more durable than the Osprey. As for whether the Camelbak is the easiest water bladder to fill with water and load into your pack, this is debatable; the Camelbak is not terribly difficult, but it is not terribly easy either. All in all, however, you would trade the fact that it is sometimes awkward to fill and stuff into your hydration pouch for the fact that it is incredibly durable and effective! There are certainly plenty of great options when it comes to choosing a water bladder to stuff into your pack when you hit the trail; but if you want to know the surest bet, it is definitely the Camelbak bladder! @@AMAZONWIDGET;camelbak;1063498@@.
